First Half: Hwang's Strike and Luton's Missed Chances
Although Wolves custodian Jose Sa was tested early on by Ross Barkley and Luton, Hwang Hee-chan broke the tie for Wolves. Just before halftime, Wolves took the lead thanks to a deflected effort by Hwang, set up by Matheus Cunha and into the bottom corner. Jordan Clark and Carlton Morris both had chances for Luton to equalise, but they were unable to take advantage of them.

Second Half: Wolves Double Lead and Luton's Late Rally
Early in the second half, Toti Gomes gave Wolves a greater lead by nodding in Mario Lemina's cross following a deft set-piece move. Eighty minutes in, Luton grabbed one back through Morris, but not before Nelson Semedo had an opportunity to make it three, setting up a frantic finish. But Wolves managed to hang on and win.

Wolves' standout player was Hwang Hee-chan, who scored a vital goal to snap his four-month goal drought. Wolves had the momentum they needed to win thanks to his goal. Furthermore, Jose Sa's crucial saves prevented Luton from scoring and guaranteed that Wolves would not lose the lead.

The 2-1 victory over Luton Town by Wolverhampton Wanderers was a crucial outcome for them as they look to finish in the top half of the Premier League. Hwang Hee-chan's goal proved to be the game-winning one, breaking his lengthy goal drought and giving Wolves a much-needed victory. Luton made a late comeback, but Wolves held on to win all three points. In the meantime, Luton will need to get back together as they play the remaining games in an attempt to avoid relegation.
