Arsenal defeated Wolves 2-0 at Molineux to turn around their recent losses. After suffering setbacks in the Premier League and Champions League, the Gunners turned with a strong effort to take all three points and take the top spot in the league table for the time being.
Wolves:
Eleventh-place Wolves, who have lost and drawn their previous four Premier League games, wasted a one-goal lead against Nottingham Forest before rallying for a point last time out. Gary O'Neil's team may draw even with Chelsea in ninth position with three points today, as the Blues aren't playing this weekend, and they are situated halfway between the European spots and the relegation zone.
Arsenal:
After suffering a late 2-0 loss to Aston Villa last weekend and being eliminated by Bayern Munich in the Champions League, Arsenal is hoping to finish a terrible week on a relatively positive note. With five games remaining, the Gunners have the opportunity to briefly reclaim the top spot in the table. A victory would move them one point clear of Pep Guardiola's team at the top. With Manchester City missing out on Premier League action due to FA Cup commitments, Liverpool will play Fulham tomorrow.

First Half: Trossard Gives Arsenal the Lead
Just before halftime, Arsenal broke the deadlock despite Wolves' tenacity. After Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus put in some excellent work, Leandro Trossard scored from close range to take advantage of a well-executed play. Arsenal had a well-earned advantage at the half thanks to the goal, and Trossard was the visitors' most potent offensive threat.
Second Half: Odegaard Seals the Win
Arsenal continued to control possession and generate opportunities in the second half. Arsenal's defence was difficult for Wolves to penetrate, and the Gunners appeared to enjoy setting the game's pace. Martin Odegaard gave Arsenal the insurance goal as the game was drawing to a close, firing in a brilliant shot from a challenging angle to make it 2-0 and seal the win.
Arsenal Return to Winning Ways
With the 2-0 triumph, Arsenal briefly regains the top rank in the Premier League and overcomes previous setbacks. After a difficult week, manager Mikel Arteta will be happy with his team's response since they displayed resiliency and quality to win. Wolves, meanwhile, will be upset with the outcome but will try to bounce back before their upcoming match. Both teams will be looking to capitalise on this outcome and carry on pushing for their individual league goals with key games remaining.
