Here we have an exciting matchup between Manchester City and Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park! As the battle takes place on the pitch, there is a sense of anticipation in the air as both teams want to win.

Crystal Palace:

Under new manager Oliver Glasner, Palace got off to a strong start, defeating Burnley 3-0 in his debut game. However, the Eagles have since lost two of their past four games in the top tier and drawn two more. Their previous match, a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth, was especially upsetting when Eberechi Eze's potential opener was disallowed for offside following a VAR check. Justin Kluivert then scored the game's winning goal for the Cherries in the 79th minute. It would be a stretch to argue that Palace earned anything from the Vitality Stadium encounter, though, given that their three shots resulted in an xG (expected goals) of just 0.19. With eight games left, the Eagles are eight points above the relegation zone in 14th place in the Premier League. Although there isn't much left to play for, Glasner will utilise the last stretch of the season to determine who he wants in his squad for the next year.

Man City:

After drawing both their previous games against championship rivals Liverpool and Arsenal, City bounced back to defeat Champions League aspirants Aston Villa 4-1. After Rodri's first goal was cancelled out by Jhon Duran to tie the score, Phil Foden scored an incredible hat-trick to take City's winning streak in the Premier League to 15 games and maintain them three points behind leaders Liverpool. With a victory, Pep Guardiola's team will momentarily go ahead of second-place Arsenal. They can only advance to the top, though, if they defeat Palace by four goals or more. After winning six and drawing two of their previous eight Premier League away games against Palace, City will be optimistic about the outcome. They also want to maintain a positive attitude going into next week's crucial Champions League quarterfinal first-leg meeting against Real Madrid in Spain.

A brilliant display of togetherness as De Bruyne's exquisite cross to Haaland enables the forward to slot in from close range with accuracy. City continues to show off their relentless offensive ability as they get closer to victory.

With a deft one-two with Grealish, De Bruyne closes the book on another amazing display, slamming his strike into the bottom-left corner. The captain of City displays his talent once more, taking Palace out of the game.

A chance for Palace to salvage some pride is presented when Edouard scores from close range after a smart build-up. Even with the late score, Palace is unable to hold off City as they win well-deservedly.
