Brighton & Hove Albion took on Tottenham in an exciting match at the Amex Stadium that had spectators on the edge of their seats. The setting was set for an exciting match between Brighton, looking to kickstart their league campaign, and Tottenham, hoping to maintain their winning run.

Brighton:

Even though they have progressed to the Europa League knockout stages in the last 12 top-flight games, Brighton has only won two of those games. Their most recent outcome was a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace last Thursday. Roberto De Zerbi's team is now eighth in the Premier League going into this match, despite their lack of wins.

Tottenham:

Spurs have subsequently bounced back from a slump in which they managed just one point out of a possible fifteen, due to back-to-back victories over Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, and Everton. With one more game to play, a fourth straight win would put them back above Manchester City and into fourth place; on goal differential, a victory by three goals would put them over of third-place Aston Villa.
