Arsenal's Unbeaten Run:

Conversely, Arsenal, occupying the third position in the Premier League, had not experienced any loss. They could have won by five or more goals to take the lead in the standings, but they were focused on keeping their league unbeaten streak intact.

Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal also had a chance during injury time, but he was unable to take advantage of it.

Even though there were no goals in the first half, there was drama and a lot of yellow cards, and the game was set up for an interesting second half.

Second Half: Newcastle Strikes First:

Both teams were desperate for a breakthrough as the second half got underway with a bang. In the 54th minute, Newcastle had their best opportunity, but Gordon was unable to take it.

Then, in the sixty-fourth minute, Anthony Gordon scored with a tap-in following a flurry in the Arsenal penalty area. But the goal had to go through a drawn-out VAR check, which made things even more tense. Newcastle was fortunate to take a 1-0 lead as the goal stood.

Arsenal attempted to equalise but was unable to generate many clear-cut chances. Trossard had a late attempt, but the Newcastle defence stopped it.

Newcastle United ultimately prevailed 1-0 to complete the match. The victory was secured by Anthony Gordon's tenacious goal, even though it necessitated a thorough VAR review. Newcastle moved up to sixth place in the league table with this victory. Conversely, Arsenal lost for the first time this season in the Premier League and lost a chance to take the lead in the standings. The Premier League never fails to deliver surprising results that keep supporters on the edge of their seats.
